Ashley grew up in Saratoga, California and now lives in San Rafael, CA with her husband Zach but considers home to be her family's cottage in Northern Ontario, Canada. After college at Chico State University, Ashley knew she would eventually become an event planner but particularly realized her love for wedding planning after her sister Bronwen’s wedding day which she coordinated at the Log Cabin at The Presidio in San Francisco. Her sister is also responsible for connecting Ashley to First Pick Planning Owner, Jen Bergmark. Ever since Ashley + Jen met, it became clear that Ashley would become a full-time wedding planner and now  manages the First Pick Planning  Bay Area branch. Ashley enjoys working with clients all throughout Northern California and can often be found in Lake Tahoe at her second home near Northstar with her husband and her two young sons, Wilder and Weston.
